What data we collect
At this stage, the only personal data we collect is:
- Your email address, when you voluntarily sign up to our waitlist
- The date and time you signed up (recorded automatically by our email provider, Beehiiv)
We do not collect your name, location, phone number, payment details, or any other personal information at this stage.
Why we collect it
We collect your email address for one reason only: to notify you when Zovo launches and to send you relevant updates about the product in the meantime.
The legal basis for processing your data under UK GDPR is consent — you gave us explicit permission by ticking the consent checkbox when signing up.
How we use your data
- To send you launch announcements and product updates about Zovo
- To notify you when the app becomes available in your city
- To send occasional newsletters about the app's development (no more than once a week)
We will never use your email address to send unrelated marketing, spam, or third-party promotions.
Who we share your data with
We use Beehiiv (beehiiv.com) as our email platform. Your email address is stored securely on Beehiiv's servers. Beehiiv is GDPR-compliant and processes data in accordance with EU/UK data protection law.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your email address with any other third party, advertiser or organisation — ever.
Cookies
This website uses only one essential cookie, which remembers whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. This cookie contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or advertising purposes.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep your data
We will keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our waitlist or newsletter. If you unsubscribe at any time, your email address will be removed from our list promptly. You can also request deletion by emailing us directly.

Your email address is stored on Beehiiv's secure, encrypted servers. We take reasonable steps to protect your data and work only with providers who maintain appropriate security standards.

As Zovo grows and we collect more types of data (for example, when the app launches and collects location data), we will update this policy and notify you via email. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when the policy was last updated.
